Idaho Commerce to Attend CeBIT with Six Idaho Technology Companies

CeBIT will take place in Hannover, Germany March 20-25, 2017.

BOISE, Idaho—Monday, March 13, 2017

The Idaho Department of Commerce will be sending a team for the second time to Hannover, Germany for the annual CeBIT trade show from March 20-25, 2017. The Commerce team will be joined by representatives from six Idaho-based technology companies that specialize in providing safety and security both online and in the real world, in addition to streamlining and improving business’ interactions with technology.

“The 2016 CeBIT show was extremely successful for the Idaho companies who attended, generating over $920,000 in revenue,” said Idaho Commerce director Megan Ronk. “We anticipate this year to be equally successful and are pleased to support our companies’ efforts abroad.”

CeBIT is the only event in the world to present the digital transformation in its entirety. In 2016 it attracted 200,000 attendees from 70 countries around the world. The expo will provide these Idaho companies the opportunity to find new markets and forge new partnerships with professionals from the 3,000 companies presenting at CeBIT.

Idaho Commerce will be featured in the Hall for Business Communications, Networks and IoT (Internet of Things) Solutions. Presenters in this hall represent world leaders in communication services and digitization.

The five companies joining the Commerce team in the Idaho Pavilion include:

American Semiconductor - A leader in Flexible Hybrid Electronics technology and the world's number one flexible silicon content provider. Products include technology based on patented IP that enables integrated circuits to bend easier than a sheet of paper.

Black Sage Technologies - Provides solutions that detect, identify, and defeat UAVs using radar, artificial intelligence, video tracking, and non-kinetic response. Black Sage helps commercial facilities and large-scale venues actively monitor and secure their premises, protecting them from unwelcome threats and liabilities. They precisely detect, track, and identify UAVs using a new type of Doppler radar– the compact surveillance radar (CSR), artificial intelligence, and long-range video tracking, offering more comprehensive protection from terrorists, vandals, protesters, and disruptors.

DigiTar - A technology leader in the exploding Mobile eCommunication and SaaS / Cloud Computing Information Technology [IT] markets. DigiTar is a turnkey Solutions-as-a-Service Provider delivering all aspects of eCommunications hosting, cyber security risk detection & prevention, encryption, privacy networking, web content filtering, secure eMobile networking, and much more; all as a service.

Recall InfoLink - Makes product recalls faster and easier across the entire supply chain, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and consumers, through a common technology platform in the cloud. Their B2B system notifies business customers, provides comprehensive recall details (products, instructions, disposition, etc.), documents responses, and generates reports of actions taken to simplify compliance and streamline business processes that product recalls create. Their B2C system allows consumer-specific communications to manage brand image and marketability when product recalls occur.

Skejit - Business intelligence for your time. Social media platforms recommend "who you might know," but they are often stale contacts that haven't yielded fruit. By understanding a user's goals, network, interests, location, and availability coupled with the power of Predictive Intelligence, Skejit proactively finds who you should know and when they're available.

The sixth Idaho company participating in CeBIT is:

nextScan - A world leader in micrographics conversion technology and document management. nextScan's innovative patented products are designed and built with simplicity and functionality to increase user production and lower overall costs for scanning film and fiche. Microfilm and microfiche conversions are highly technical processes of taking rollfilm, or microfiche, and converting the film to a digital format. nextScan products provide a full conversion solution that far exceeds the speed, functionality, and return on investment when compared to other scanners in the market.

The Idaho Pavilion is in Hall 12, stand E20, and nextScan is in Hall 3, Stand K29.
